Private label wigs: what can be branded and what cannot
Private label means the wig arrives under your brand, in packaging you control. It is worth being precise about the line between what we brand and what we do not: your name goes on the box, the tray, the insert and the carton marks - not on the model itself. Here is the flow, and what we need from you.
What we brand
You pick a catalog model, or send a reference and we match the length, colour and construction. We then produce and pack it under your brand name: the box format, the tray and insert, the label position and the carton marks are all yours, ready for your market.
What stays ours
The model, its construction and its specification stay ours. Private label changes how the product is packed and presented, not what it is, so the hair type, lengths, weights and colour codes are the same as the catalog model you chose. That is what keeps the specification checkable on a repeat order.
Artwork you need, or a brief
Send your artwork in AI, PDF or a high-resolution PNG and we place it. If you do not have artwork ready, we prepare a design proof from your logo. Either way, your logo is what carries the brand; you do not need a designer to start.
The proof comes before the run
We send a digital artwork proof for your approval before the run starts. That is the point at which to change a colour, a box size or a label position. After approval we produce, then prepare the packing list, carton marks and documents for your forwarder.
What we need from you
Four things: the model or reference with the quantity per model, the box format and preferred size, your logo and artwork files (or a brief if you want us to design), and your target market so we can flag labelling points early. Wholesale quantities start at 3 pieces per model.
Questions we are asked
Can I put my own brand on the wig itself?
Your brand goes on the packaging and the label position, not on the model. The construction and the hair stay as specified, which is what keeps the product checkable against a written specification.
What artwork do you need?
AI, PDF or a high-resolution PNG. If you have none, we prepare a design proof from your logo, and either way you approve a digital proof before the run starts.
What is the minimum for a private label order?
Wholesale quantities start at 3 pieces per model. A single piece as a sample can be ordered first, at the lowest listed price for that model, with the freight at your cost.
