Medical wigs wholesale: what clinics and patients ask for

A clinic, a hair-loss studio and a patient are three different buyers with three different questions. A wholesale medical wig account is built to serve the professional who fits the piece, so this page answers what the clinic asks for - construction, documentation and continuity - rather than the patient-side talk of free or donated wigs.

Who the buyer is

The account we serve is the professional: the salon, studio or clinic that fits wigs for people in treatment and sells to them directly. That changes what matters. Patient searches are about cost and access; a professional buyer needs a construction that wears all day, a repeatable shade and paperwork that describes the product precisely.

The construction the clinic chooses

Hand-tied is the build we make for all-day medical wear, with machine-back as the more economical option in the same line. Both use straight European virgin hair and share the same colour codes, so a clinic can mix builds in one order and receive a consistent shade.

The paperwork a client may be asked for

Where a client claims reimbursement, the document usually comes from their own provider rather than from us. What we can do is issue an invoice naming the model, hair type, length, colour and construction, so it can be submitted as it stands. We do not advise on coverage, and we do not claim to certify a wig as medical.

Continuity matters more than the first order

Someone in treatment needs the same shade and construction to still be available months later. Ask how a shade is matched across batches, what the minimum is for a repeat order and how long a run takes. Colour availability by length is confirmed on quotation, and our wholesale minimum is 3 pieces per model.

Start with a single piece

Hair and construction are unreliable to judge from a photograph. One piece can be ordered as a sample, quoted at the lowest listed price for that model, with the freight at your cost, and the clinic can fit it before committing to a quantity.

Questions we are asked

Do you certify wigs as medical?

No. Medical grade is a buying term, not a certification, and we do not claim one. We describe the construction and the hair, and put the specification in writing so you can judge it yourself.

Can you invoice for reimbursement?

We issue a detailed invoice naming model, hair type, length, colour and construction. Whether it is accepted is decided by the client provider or insurer, and we do not advise on that.

What is the minimum for a clinic account?

Three pieces per model for wholesale, and a single piece as a sample. Colour and length can vary within those pieces, so a first order can test more than one specification.
