Blonde Wig with Brown Highlights
Most listings for this colour show high-contrast stripes. 6/8/18 is the softer version: a blonde unit with fine brown strands worked through it, not a dark base with blonde ribbons.
What 6/8/18 actually looks like
The three numbers are a blend, not three colours sitting side by side. 6 and 8 are the two blonde levels that make up the body of the hair; the third tone runs through it as fine strands. At arm’s length the unit reads as a soft golden blonde, and close up you see the brown. If you want chunky, high-contrast highlights, or dark roots with wide blonde faces, this is the wrong code — ask for a two-tone build instead.
Reading the code before you order
Colour codes are trade shorthand, and factories do not all write them the same way. What matters is what the batch looks like, not what the number implies: blondes shift between batches, and a code that photographs warm on one batch can read cooler on the next. Colour availability by length is therefore confirmed on quotation, and we will send a current photo of the batch before a large order.

Why the lace is 4 × 5 × 8.5
The measurement is the lace area, not the cap size. It gives a front hairline and a defined parting zone, which is what makes a blonde unit wearable at all: light hair over a visible knot grid is the fastest way to make a wig look like a wig. Seamless lace is where colour and construction have to be built together — the knots are worked finer and the lace is tinted to sit under this colour rather than under a dark brown, which is also why 6/8/18 is made to order rather than stocked.
Who this colour suits
Salons use it as the safe blonde: light enough to read as blonde in photographs, warm enough not to wash out a warm or olive undertone, and soft enough that a first-time blonde client does not reject it as too drastic. Resellers pick it because it photographs the way it looks in daylight, which is what keeps returns down. Individual buyers can take a single piece through the sample route rather than meeting the wholesale minimum.
Wholesale and sample terms
Three pieces per model is the minimum, and colours can be mixed across the three. Production runs about two weeks, two to three for custom colour. Transit is 10 to 12 business days to the US after dispatch. Packaging can be bulk, a retail box, or your own printed box and logo. A single piece is available as a sample at the lowest listed price for the model, with freight at your cost.
Keeping the brown from going flat
The brown strands and the blonde strands do not age at the same rate. Brown goes flat first, and it goes flat from the top down, because that is where light and product land. Wash with sulphate-free shampoo in cool water, condition from mid-length down, and keep heat below 180 °C — above that the brown dulls before the blonde visibly changes, and the contrast quietly disappears.
Questions buyers ask
Is this blonde with brown highlights, or brown with blonde highlights?
Blonde-dominant. The base reads blonde and the brown sits in it as fine strands. For a browner unit, look at 6/500C/60C or 2/6/500.
Can I order one piece to see the colour?
Yes. One piece at the lowest listed price for the model, with freight at your cost. The three-piece minimum applies to wholesale orders.
Will it match the photo exactly?
Blonde levels move slightly between batches, so colour availability by length is confirmed on quotation. Ask for a photo of the current batch before a large order.
Is it glueless?
The 4 x 5 x 8.5 lace gives a hairline and a parting zone. Whether it holds without adhesive depends on cap fit and head shape, so fit it before committing a client to a glueless install.
Do you make other blonde-and-brown blends?
Yes: 8D/60 is cooler and lighter, 4/6/8/16 sits browner, and 6/500C/60C is warmer. The full range is on the colour chart.
